Description: Still Life
AYTB presents the Obie Award winning Still Life, a documentary by Emily Mann. Still Life focuses on a Vietnam veteran and the way his life, his art, and his war experiences have affected the lives of his wife and his friend, Nadine. The play presents itself as a documentary film and shows characters finding the voice needed to express the thoughts, emotions, and pain that they have grappled with over the years.
The Hollywood Reporter called Still Life "...a theatrical experience that is often shattering." Robert Bettencourt directs.
Canvas, paint brushes, paintings, drop cloth, easel, sculpting tools, and pallet have been supplied by Boundlessgallery Artist LISA CLERMONT and will be used as props in the production.
